I see a blonde man wearing a hat and a cow fur vest. He wears a red bandanna around his neck. He has on old, faded jeans. He also wears dirty brown boots. He is sitting on top of a brown, shiny, muscular horse. Thats what comes to mind when someone says 'cowboy' to me.
