Curling is a hardcore sport! It take a real talent to play that game!
Curling is a precision team sport similar to bowls or bocce, played on a rectangular sheet of prepared ice by two teams of four players each, using heavy polished granite stones which they slide down the ice towards a target area called the house. Points are scored for the number of stones that a team has closer to the center of the target than the closest of the other team's stones. The level of precision and complex nature of the strategic thinking required to win has led curling to be referred to as "chess on ice."

Are you kidding? I find curling an excellent sport to watch . Have you ever tried to throw a rock accurately? It takes a lot of skill to throw a rock down the ice and curl it down with enough skill to hit or place a rock where you want.

Tut they have a category for Curling, but no Tiddlywinks or Chess, there's bullfighting in Society and Culture too, I think people have got a bit mixed up.

Actually, I think it's interesting, it takes planning and skill to play it. It's sort of like bocci on ice. It's the only sport that I watched in the Winter Olympics.

curling is pretty sweet
bet you couldn't do it ;)
and if you think its boring, i mean - think of BASEBALL. I know we all love it, but it is a pretty boring sport - I just went to a game that went into 17 INNINGS. What is even more boring is Baseball's older brother - Cricket.
Don't get me wrong, I love them - but don't go dissing on boring games!
