I've hear rumors of maybe Eric Wyanlda...Marcelo Balboa...or even Jurgen Klinsmann taking over the US side, any world out there??

Ziggy Smith (i think that is his spelling). The man has a great record and he coached with MLS with the Metrostars/ Redbulls. I think his American experience allows the US to keep some its American roots and also allows for a coach who knows the style of play to come in and make minor adjustments to the play without wrecking what has already been set up.

Overall, I just hope it is an American coach. I think if we import a European or a Brazilian coach, they will take away from the national pride this team has (or lacks). I think the new head of the US Soccer Foundation will make that decision to keep it national; however, I think that he will not fire Bruce Areana in the end.

I don't think it would be Balboa. Definitely not Kilnsmann. Wynalda might be really good if he was actually up for it. I don't think he's ever coached though so I doubt it.

We (the US) definitely need some new blood in the coaching staff. We'll still qualify for 2010 though.

It can be anyone they want. It won't matter because the core of good players will be gone. USA will not make it to finals in 2010. Knocked out by T&T.

I think it's gonna be a Canadian coach to salvage the situation.

Definetly won't be Klinsman. he's just been offered a new contract because Germany made it to 1/4s.
