the system has an agp card but even when all cards removed it maks a hi low tone and does nothign else. the video will not come up is the main board bad?

the memory was pulled to force a memory error it still making the same hi low tone

the stand by led is flashing and i get a hi low type sound similat to a police siren

the tones are a POST code power on self test, you need to go to the website and see what the codes mean, if you can remove your power supply i would have that checked as that causes most problems or it may not be powerful enough for your system should be a minimum of 400 watts, if you have a good video card 500 watts, you can download memtest 86 to test your memory, but memory rarely fails, intel processors rarely fail. the big failures are power supplies video cards and hard drives.

are you using pcix or agp? and also make sure if it requires external power i.e. not getting power from the slot itself that you have power conencted to it.
