Fox news was the first major media to call that propaganda organ for Sorros etc. for the falsehoods and anti-American slanders that the Times regularly publishes under the heading of news. NYT was a giant in the news business and highly respected until they surrendered all of their objectivity to become a propaganda mill for the far international left

Conservatives -vs- Liberals
It points out the meaninglessness of such stupid terms, both are right wing anyway you cut it, and it also points out the extremely narrow margins of debate in this country. Both ignore important facts that should be discussed that have very big impacts on our lives, but they agree to be tweedledee and tweedledum and we get robbed of any source of informed opinion on any matter.
Read Reuters or even the Christian Science Monitor is better news...

I'm not sure 'rivalry' is the right word.
Fox is more reliable I think, and marks their editorials as editorials.
However, what they choose to inform us of frames our debate. You have to really look for your own news.
