some doctors will recommend that you have sex to help the baby along.

I tried soooo hard to go into labor except nothing walking etc did not. However there is one way that does work it is discusting:
Caster oil there are risk involved so pelase make sure you understand them...
I happen to know how well castor oil really works! Although it was nothing great to drink, I mixed it with Pepsi and within 2 hours I was having strong contractions, and successfully induced myself Beware of diarrhea though, this acts as a laxative if it doesn't put you into labor.
I definitely know castor oil works! But be careful. I took about 3 teaspoons with my 2nd son, and labor occurred so quickly I had him at home on the living room floor! I walked around the mall for 2 hours not knowing I was in labor, just assuming I was cramping because I had nothing left to let out (if you know what I mean). I do however have a better alternative to the orange juice! Take it with coke or Pepsi (something very carbonated) it helps to "dissolve" the thickness of the oil. Stir it A LOT, and it won't taste 1/2 as bad as with the orange juice.

Walking a good distance helped my body get ready when I was near the end of pregnancy. Of coarse, be sure to be safe...if there is a good chance that "something" could happen at anytime than you should be sure you can get a hold of help (perhaps walking indoors around a mall where a telephone will be handy if needed, or if you have a cell phone than you could walk where ever you feel comfortable). Good luck, and don't let child birth scare you too bad. I have two children which were 9 pounds, 12 ounces (boy) and 9 pounds, 7 ounces (girl) and I did both deliveries naturally without drugs. Both were wonderful experiences.

Try walking in the park or around the mall, whatever you do dont drink Castor Oil, doesnt do anything but give you bad cramps and send you straight to the toliet for a dump..Plus my doctor says it doesnt work, just be patient, get your rest, and make sure your bags are packed. Cherish your quiet time, might not see it till your baby is out of the house...

I recommend you take warm showers and get all the rest you can get before getting to the labor part..you will need your strength, eat healthy and enjoy what peace and quiet you have now...
You will be wishing you did when you go threw the labor and have the baby after wards.
walk a lot that helps, for my first child I went to Walmart and walked around doing last minute grocery shopping so I didn' t have to do it after I got home from having the baby.
and have a lot of patience. The baby will come when its ready.

You havn't been in labour for a week impossible. These are braxtonhicks contractions. and are very good at mimiking labour. You will know when you go into labour as the character will change. In ite meantime try clary sage and raspberry leaf tea. Read the instructions carefully or take advice from a herbalist

If you're going to have sex, the thing that helps it speed up the process is sperm. It helps thin the cervix. I heard if you eat fresh pineapple it can help you too. Don't walk, my doctor told me that the only thing walking will do is make you tired and you won't be able to handle labor when you're in the hospital. It'll just make you tired. Good luck!

My daughter just had triplets at 30 weeks. Everyone is doing fine. Don't stress. They have drugs they can give you to hold off labor for a while and if they can't they can give you steriods to help mature the babies lungs if delivery is around the corner. Good luck!

Walk-If you are having contractions but are not yet in labor, walking can help get things going
Castor oil- i wudn't reccomend castor oil as it will probably not even work but give you a horrible gut ache and give u diarea!!
Spicy food,Blue and black cohosh,Nipple stimulation,Raspberry Leaf Tea ,Cinnamin stick tea,Evening primrose oil,Pineapple, cumin tea, eggplant parmesan, and of corse sex may help. fasting with water (i wudn't reccoment that) taking a really warm bath.
well there is a few things to keep you busy haha goodluck

I know how anxious you are at 37 weeks, but remember, when a baby is fully developed and ready to be born certain hormones are released that kick in full blow labor. You want a healthy baby and as long as everything else is o.k. you will need to just wait this one out.
