God is suppose to be the creator of heaven and earth as well as all life. He is also suppose to be the force that guides all living things including everything in the cosmos.
He is a mysterious forces that makes and continues to make those things in question and guides them as well.
If your faith is not strong, there is another way to know god. Mind you it is not an easy path either: But then nothing worth knowing is easy.
Learn about forces like gravity. The structure of the atom; including protons, neutrons and electrons. The atomic and subatomic forces like the week and the strong force. If you have the time, money, patients and interest, learn about quarks, bosons and leptons (elementary particles). As you watch and study these particles of energy, like those who have traveled this journey before, including Einstein, you will come to the realization that you are looking at god. For the forces that you see are the ones responsible for the creation of the heavens as well as the earth and all the living things.
The best part about learning about this is the peace of mind you will receive, knowing and understanding god, at least to the point that is humanly possible. You will also finally understand what Jesus meant when he claimed, " I am in god as god is in me", when he responded to the question, " Are you god ?".

God is will power.
It is a power that is the end result of the concentrative powers of human beings.
One can see God in anything tht he can concentrate on.
An amazingly satisfying and enlightening experience to understand ur ownself is knowing God.
