I'm sure you're going to ignore the logic here, but for the vast majority of gay couples, getting married is not a matter of making a covenant to God - it is A) making a commitment to each other and B) receiving the same benfits as straight married couples, on taxes, shared benefits from a job, etc. A gay couple can live together for 20 years and then, when one of them dies, if they are not "married", the survivor can go through legal hell implementing the deceased's intent in the event that they have left no will. Normally, everything would go to their spouse - gay couples don't have that benefit.
I know there are Christian gay couples, and I cannot speak for them. But I, for one, could care less that God told me to multiply - there's way too many straight people out there who multiply without thinking, leaving unwanted children that I can adopt.
How can you possibly encourage people to reproduce with the population as inflated as it is, with the terrible problems all over the world? Why don't you focus on something that actually affects the peoples of the world, like AIDS or hunger or forced prostitution, and leave two people who love each other and would like everyone to know alone.
Have a pleasant day.

Yes, homosexuals can and do say they physically fit each other just as perfectly as a man and woman. Is that so difficult for you to understand? Your obsessive interest in sex and women is considered perverse by many religious groups. So who are you to judge? What doesn't make sense is heterosexuals' so called "value of marriage" when the divorce rate is so high.
The divorce rate in America for first marriage is 41%
The divorce rate in America for second marriage is 60%
The divorce rate in America for third marriage is 73%
Two people who love each other should also have the right to a legal union whether it's called "marriage" or not. People are people and deserve the same basic rights regardless of race, gender or sexuality.

...and His Son said "Love one another, as I have loved you."
Oh and marriage was a Pagan tradition (just like most of the Holydays) long before it was co-opted by the Roman Catholic Church and her Protestant offspring. So I hardly think the Christian Churches have ultimate veto on what constitutes a marriage.
Besides, why should the union of two people who wish to declare their love before God and friends/family be contingent on their procreating? Mary and Joseph were married and he had no part in making the baby Jesus - nor does the Bible tell us that St. Mary, went on to give birth to His half-brothers and sisters.
As to the physical construction of men and women - you are absolutely right God (or Nature) has opted for a dual approach to procreation - with poles and holes and skeletal differences in shape for bearing children. But humans are not some sort of instinct-driven beast of a lower order. They are complex beings with emotions and free thought (well some of us are, who have broken away from dogma).
Go back to your copy of the good book and this time, when you read the words, try and understand their meaning. Then try and figure out how you should incorporate that meaning in your life. Perhaps start with the Sermon on the Mount.
God Bless

You are assuming, of course, that everyone follows your god or wants a religious marriage. That is not the case for many of us. First, I am atheist. Whatever your god says means no more to me than what the Easter Bunny says. And, I do not care if my marriage is recognized by religions, I just want it recognized by the state.
And me and my girlfriend physically fit together quite well, thank you.
[EDIT] No, actually no toys are necessary. Try reading next time, I never mentioned the use of toys. I've never used toys. The way we fit has nothing to do with how our genitals work together.
And don't try to add any religious preachings into this. You believe a god exists, I do not. What happens when we die will be settled once we die, so don't worry about it now. The Christian God is one I would not want to be stuck with for eternity anyway, should he exist I would choose Hell.

I don't know. Does it really matter what other people do? Why do you care? Just leave them alone and let them live their lives in the way they see fit. If they are happy, don't try to take that away. There's too much unhappiness in this world without moronic wacko conservatives trying to put controls on people. It doesn't really matter. What's worse? Two men being married? Or thousands of our young men being killed every year in a foreign country so an evil lying bastard (Bush) can make billionsof dollars? Let the ******* and dykes live their lives the way they want to. I don't really care and I am tired of hearing so much talk about an issue that really isn't important to any one outside of the gay community. Just let it go.

Well, a man and another man can fit each other as well, it's called anal sex.
Marriage isn't about having kids. If that was true, then is marriage barred from the straight people who are unable to conceive and impregnate? When one finds out that they cannot bear children or allow someone else to bear children, is that person supposed to divorce their wife/husband and become a loner?
Marriage is about LOVE.

Consider - if you will - that EVERY culture since the dawn of time has included homosexuals. Has that stopped the fact that the planet has billions of people on it? And nowhere in the Bible I read are homosexuals deemed "not of God".

Like I'm going to give any thought into this stupid question.
5 days ago you asked questions about oral sex, so you cannot be taken seriously in this question.
But....for fun....I'll give you my 2 cents....
God said, "Go forth and multiply".....
....was He talking to only men and women who could have children?
What about elderly people? They get married, but can't have children.
What about people who physically cannot have children?
Was He talking to them, too?
Or, is it the fact that you can't get your dirty little mind out of the gutter?
Homosexuals cannot have children in the way you are thinking.
You're right.
They are left to adopt the poor children that stupid straight people cannot raise on their own.

Give your silly views a rest. It is Saturday and you need to take a break. And one little critique..your screen name is ridiculous. You no more carry a Male View than a rock. You have your restricted, narrow minded bible thumping view, not a Male View. Your screen name is the epitome of arrogance...oh, sorry to use such big words that you won't understand...YOU are a jerk...is that better?
