my wife and i have been trying to have a baby and she was on birth control for so long. she just got her period for the second time in almost a year and a half. she started and for the past two days it has been so light wich is very odd she has always been very haevy during that time. we dont know if something is wrong or if maybe it is a sign of something can anybody help me?

Depends on the kind of birth control she used. Some of that stuff is hard core. if it was depro provera. it could be 3 years before her periods become normal. her body was used to birth control and now it is trying to right itself, it could be months or years before she is ovulating regularly. She could ovulate one month and not the next. Have patience and make a lot of love.

I would immediately make an appointment with the OB/GYN! They will be able to help better than anyone. If she's been on birth control for so long then surely they must have an idea of what is going on, specially if she's had only two periods in that long a stretch of time. I wonder that they are not concerned. If they can't help, seek another professional opinion!

It might be implantation bleeding, its a good possibility she is pregnant. Is the blood much darker than usual? Either way, you should schedule a Dr. appointment....Good Luck.

your right that is very abnormal. i really dont know but i would serisouly send her to doctor to be checked
