Most of these guys just take the car back, no problem, if, they Honest. She paid for his out of pocket money when she bought the car. They make money either way and most not worried. It will look better for her to take it back, then later if she want to buy from him again, there should be no problem. IF, he has to come get the car, he may not deal with her again.
She will lose what money she paid in. As mentioned above, she could try selling in the paper and get a few Dollars back, but, most times she will owe more than she can sell for, depends how long she been paying for the car.
Heck, a friend of mine sell cars like this and has had people bring the car back because they out of work. Later they come get the car again after they find a job.

She should just sell the car in the newspaper if she has the title, if not she should get that car back as soon as possible so she doesn't have to pay anymore payments and she should take the bus or medical transportation.

It will be considered a repoessed vehicle. Definitely will look bad on her credit report. If she decides to keep it and pay it off, it won't show up on her credit report...possibly different in different states.
