Salt

This seems to be the quickest of all home remedies for mosquito bites. Simply moisten the bite area and then rub table salt on the moistened area. Itching should cease immediately.

Apple Cider Vinegar

To relieve the itching, rub apple cider vinegar directly on the mosquito bites.

Toothpaste

Toothpaste is another one of the fastest home remedies for mosquito bites. Just dab a bit of toothpaste onto the mosquito bites and the itching should stop very quickly. Peppermint toothpaste is by far the best.

Calamine Lotion

Apply calamine lotion to relieve the itching caused by mosquito bites.

Aloe

Aloe seems to top the list of all home remedies for mosquito bites when it comes to both eliminating the itch and healing the wound. You can grow your own aloe and use the gel from the leaves, or you can use a commercial aloe gel product.

Lemon

The biggest problem derived from scratching one's itch is the threat of infections.

So, for itching that just won't stop, and if you just have to scratch, cut a lemon in half and scratch your itch with the soft pulpy side of it. This will reduce the chances of getting an infection from scratching with your fingernails.
Salt And Baking Soda

This is one of the most effective home remedies for bug bites to relieve both pain and itching. Mix together equal parts of baking soda and salt and enough water to create a thick paste. Apply it on the affected areas.

Pour some uncooked oatmeal in your bath tub, fill it up with water and take a bath - it will be very soothing and it's supposed to help with irritation problems. There is a salve you can make with 1 tablespoon of Borax, 1 box of corn starch, 1 large jar of petromeum jelly, apply to the effected area in very small amounts, this could also be soothing. Otherwise, perhaps some over-the-counter allergy medication, such as: benedryl, etc. Sorry for your problem.

Vinegar mixed with a little salt was the remedy my mother used on me once when I was stung by a bee. It also works to take the itchiness out of mosquito bites.

This has worked for me very well, as i'm allergic to mosquitoes bites. Find a cigarrete, take the tobacco shreds and mix it with spit, put it on the bites, and you'll forget you've been bitten. It's yucky but works, for real!

I use caladryl (calamine + benedryl) lotion-- It's pretty basic & natural. It even comes in clear / not just pink like it used to.
Also, there is a natural repellant - citronella - in some natural repellants to use when on dog walk.
