It should, that's what it is made for. I'm thinking of buying one at the end of this week, and it had better work like it says it does. If not, I'm going to make sure the store I buy it from has a good return policy. ;)
But yeah, if you search for it on BestBuy.com, it even says "Datel Media Player for DS Lite. Also works with the Nintendo DS" or something similar to that. (I'd hope it'd work with both, since they're the same thing...)
If you get it, or have gotten it, you should let me know if it works...

def! i purely have been given a lite purple one and it particularly is the proper! I even have the unique ds too however the lite is soo plenty greater useful. the sound and the lights is a great progression from the popular one! they even have them in gentle toddler blue now (ebay)
