I think we have to change the whole general System, under which some people have too much, and a large number of people do not have enough. It is the consequence of theft.
I once read where there IS enough food to feed the world. The problem lies in the (faulty) distribution of food and commodities.
Charity is only a temporary remedy that does not get at the root of the problem.
In nursing homes, hospitals and day care centres in North America an alarming and deeply disturbing amount of food gets thrown out! Proportions are frequently too big. Many people are unhealthy and overweight because of poor dietary patterns. Obesity and the state of being overweight is not as big a problem in some countries and cultures as in others. Surpluses can kill. More food is not necessarily better. Too much of almost anything can be dangerous.
Give the System the message! (to help with something)
This message is not a political one. Socialists can be just as hypocritical as capitalists when they get greedy. The dealers generally seem to take a large overhead for themselves regardless of politics. I live in an area that has a regional socialist government and am well aware of some of the drawbacks and deceptions contained in such as political system. Socialists also tend to serve the larger System.

We Canadians ! Can legally get into the united states ! Sneak in people's yards at night and get enough crab apples to feed the world twice over! Just Kidding ! The United states is the richest state in the world ! I think that they can free up a little food for the poor countries if they have any kind of heart !

We can fight hunger in the world, by finding a good charity organization to send your donation. And making sure that they are very reliable too.

we can fight hunger in world by been our brothers keeper I mean loving our next door neigbour and teaching a man to catch a fish and not giving him fish.
If the developed worLd will help the under developed world the importance of mechanized farming.

open a donation bank and ask each man and women of this world to donate 1doller each time they go out for dinner in a hifi resturent the problem will be solved in matter of time.

we can't really fight it but can atleast contribute to this cause. We can just give a part from our's to the poor and the needy and thats all we can do

One way is by going to Africa and teaching the locals how to grow crops with western technology and giving them the equipment and training for free to start with.
