Anyone knows of any hostels/accomodation i can get which is not very expensive

why dont you use the university accomodation, they have cheap accomodation and you can make lots of great friends there too.

I wouldn't bother moving mate, there is naff all up here in the way of work, oh and don't forget your passport !!
