I was raised Catholic, but no longer practice it or believe in it. There were lots of reasons for my change of heart. The nuns in Catholic school were horrible sadistic women, and the religion itself is based on man made rules which are ridiculously strict. It's not a loving, comforting, or even helpful religion. Catholicism will eventually have to face some reality and deal with the issues people face today in their lives (like birth control for instance) or else they will lose alot of their followers.

I was born into a family with a Catholic mother and a Lutheran father. They didn't raise us with any religion so there wouldn't be a conflict between the two. Then I got sent to Catholic school in 7th grade, it was a real culture shock for me to go from no religion whatsoever to strict Catholic teaching!

Born a Catholic. Hmmm, questions them? How could you question a faith that has spawned the Inquisition, Was behind the eradication of hundreds of nations of Native Peoples in the New World (Incas, Mayas, Aztecs,. ) How can a religion that has been been ruled by "Infallible" Popes that held drunken orgies, had rivals killed or excommunicated be questioned??

I was born a catholic but as time went by I realized they were the most corrupt money hungry religion ever created. I am now agnostic. Catholics contradict everything in the bible and they should be put out of buisness!

I was baptized Methodist as a child. When I was 7, my mom stopped taking us to church. When I was 17, I converted to the Catholic Church. I always have phases of questioning but I think that is beneficial to the whole process. If you question whats going on, then you can be stronger in who you are.

Church of Christ.
Of course I did. Who hasn't ever questioned their religion. That's one of the ways you can learn more about it!! It takes a lot of faith to believe in Christianity and I don't know anyone with infallible faith.

I was born and raised in the Christian church. I have questioned it's doctrines before, but I am still firm in my belief at this point in time.

As a baby i was baptized luthran, and stayed that untill i found the baptist religion. the way of my first one , once i became baptist, i notticed was not very fullfilling. so i would say that the doubt was short lived, for the baptist was more fitting to me and my relationship with my Father JEHOVAH, and my LORD JESUS Christ.
