there are at least two sides to every question and answer.
we have the ability to decide what we"glean" from situations and conversations.
sometimes we need a little of both.

well there is a third side...the person that has no clue and says the most idiotic thing. (see the first response to your question)
It is helpful because you get the diff viewpoints and sometimes reading one thing is the thing that clicks in your head like "oohhhh I never thought of that"

You can see the full range of the human condition if you spend enough time here. The thing I try to remember is that everyone on here is a person, with feelings, desires, problems, opinions. I do not want to deliberately offend someone who has a real question, even if their grammar or spelling are deficient. I do indulge in sarcastic or humorous responses, but only if I'm sure the question is not serious or if I think that is what the asker is really looking for. Sometimes someone still takes offense. I got a nasty message today from a young person who had posted a "question" ranting about how people shouldn't "inslut" him for his spelling mistakes and "grammer". He didn't like that I gently urged him to use spell check so he wouldn't look foolish. (However, I did notice that he deleted and resubmitted his question with the spelling corrected.) I thought that was pretty funny. But some of the problems people are facing are so sad! Sometimes, I just don't know what to say.

Yea, this site is pretty funny. I read this response the other day. Oh man, it was so funny. I was laughing, coughing and my eyes were tearing. I laughed so hard I coughed out my liver. Yea, I threw it in the trash. Good thing I have two of them.
