no. the problem with this world is that some people lack the capacity to accept and tolerate each other. why do we have terrorists? who do they terrorize and why? whay did Al-quaida attack us? Do who know why? b/c they don't like the way we live or how we act and they don't agree with what we believe in. they feel so strongly that we are horrible horrible sinners that their dislike has turned turned into hatred and their capacity to tolerate us is gone. therefore they think that they have the right to eliminate anyone who doesn't think like they do and that get in their way. they just don'y have the patience to tolerate anyone unlike themselves. if everyone was more patient and tolerable with each other, i truly believe that we would have peace in this world.

"Every fool stands convinced; and everyone convinced is a fool; the faultier a man's judgment, the firmer his conviction..."

"...when conviction is joined to obstinacy both are indissolubly married to stupidity."

"...with the whole world full of fools, there is none who thinks himself one, or even suspects it."

"...the greatest fool is he who does not know himself one, and declares all others such."

These quotes are from the 17th century Jesuit and one-time head of the Jesuit College of Tarrogona, Baltasar Gracian.
