I have had a sinus infection all week. Over the counter meds, aren't going to help. Tylenol cold & sinus is suppose to be really good as well as Advil. If it's an infection, then you need to see somebody right away. These meds will mask the pain but won't cure it.
Face feel on fire? Eyeball weigh 100lbs, when your nose drains it feels good for a few min, if it's really bad, your teeth may hurt too. That's a sinus infection.

Drink lots of water and yes, Sudafed does help though you should take Aleve if you have any pain or aches associated with your cold and be sure to rest.

If it's a sinus infection like the other respondant has, no medicine will really be of any help but in her case also plenty of rest and lots of water will provide some relief.

You need something to make you feel dried up. I usually try either allergy meds like Allegra D or that nighttime capsule if I don't have to go to work. I hate that feeling.
