One should live according to its own wants and needs, providing that they are according to the society's norms.
As for me, I live for each new day that comes my way because each new day signals new beginnings and a time to undo the mistakes of the past. I live for those I hold dear in my heart as they make me see how valuable it is to love and be loved. I live for sunshines and sunsets. I live to appreciate the beauty, no matter how simple, that life has to offer. I live for the trials I go through for I know what cannot break me, can make me strong.
Do I know how to live? Hell, yeah! I will not be where I am now if I have not lived my life well. :)

I feel that I live to learn, and explore, and feel, to serve wherever needed, and engage my senses fully. Since I was a kid just knowing who I really am and what this is all about and my place in the universe is what I've lived for. I don't sit in a cave wearing a loincloth contemplating my navel and I'm rarely serious, but rather I work and laugh a lot and have fun and I always keep growing. and i keep going inside and, paradoxically, the more I discover who I'm not(the transient), the more I'm finding out who I really am. Learning about myself and feeling love for all of life(the oneness and connectedness of it all) is what makes me live i guess. never thought about it b4. Oh, I also live to see the Atlanta Braves win another world series and to see that nincompoop George Bush out of the white house....

~OK~ ~So you are a Dreamer.... I am a ~LOVER.~ I choose love over hate... Some people thrive off of hate, some live on dreams and prayers, and I actually do that too. But everyone is different and what is most important is that you find yourself and what makes you Smile, laugh, enjoy life etc... This could be many things. I live for ~My~ babies, and me..... At the end of the day they are and will always be the ~Center of my universe.~

Live such a life that you leave your footprint on this world.
A life that when departed all other lives would also like to follow him/her to heavens.A life other would like to emulate. A life that would be spoken high of for centuries to come. A open book from which people can learn lessons, can follow as their ideal as their goal in life.
Dont ask what the country has done for you but what you have done to the country.
Even if one existis for a second it should be one worthy of that one second living.
You may be one in a million but for some one you may be ALL, the life, the God.So we live for that one for whom we are all in all.

this "one" you speak of, this "person," may not exist at all. If you don't exist, then you are not supposed to live anyway, so, maybe all you have to do is watch this play out, and do what you are going to do.
