Find the manual to the remote. If that doesn't work, call tech support for the cable company. If all else fails, just use two remotes. It used to be that people had to walk all the way to the TV and change the channel. How terrible it was back in the dark ages.

Go to where you bought the plasma maxent and ask them to write down the instructions on how to program the remote ! That is the least they can do for you ! If your looking for answers try using yahoo answers or just browse google. Just type in the name and what you want done and usually it works. Sorry if this information isn't very helpful !

You have two choices: you can use the remote that came with the TV to run that (and change channels with the cable remote), or you can buy a good universal "learning" remote and program it to run both the TV and the cable box. Sony makes a pretty good learning remote for about fifty bucks - which sounds like a lot but believe me, once you get tired enough of "remote clutter" it's more than worth it.

You didn't get a plazma remote with your Plasma TV. You may haave to purchase a "Universl" remote for both the cabe and TV! It will also handle your DVD and Video casset records as well!
