I know there are some websites where you can scan your computer for viruses, etc, and repair them, without cost. I just can't remember their names. Anyone have any suggestions?

CA is offering a free one year subscription for their software in case you don't want to do the online scan.

Comodo also offers a free product. I've not tried this one yet, but have been testing their free firewall and like so far.

2 excellent av programs (free):

1) http://free.grisoft.com/ (AVG Free)

2) 1 year free trial: http://tinyurl.com/cqjb2 (CA MyEtrust)

Less effective, but good in emergency:
3) http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/ (McAfee Stinger)
