I have practiced martial arts and play soccer for many many years now. Most of the time my martial arts technique does help. Relaxing until the very last second is very important for a powerful and fast kick. Accuracy and agility also helps.

There are somethings that do not help but hinder. For the longest time, I was called for high kicking in soccer. And another thing is that when something comes at your head in martial arts, you move your head away. In reverse is true in soccer. Heading the ball needs a lot of work.

Soccer skills also help with martial arts too. Stamina and endurance in soccer helps you last longer in martial arts.

So yes it does.

Even better then kicking is the concepts of where to attack. Attacking an opponent at 45 degree angles to steal the ball etc would make it hard for them to see you coming and defend against you.

Check out ju jutsu.

Sorry but we can not. Soccer is not karate, it's more complex that kicking the ball. First you have to bring the ball in the position to kick it.
