We never saw Mrs Columbo, Mrs Mountshaft (The Good Life), 'er indoors (Minder)....and Charlie from Charlie's Angels!

Marris (?) from Frasier, Niles' wife. You can imagine her though from their descriptions but she never appears.

Marris from Frasier is the only one that is popping into my head.
Mrs. Columbo was never shown on Columbo but they did a short-lived spinoff called Mrs. Columbo in which Kate Mulgrew (Later Capt. Janeway on ST:Voyager) played Mrs. Columbo.

Most TV shows have some sort of character that's not seen - neighbors, parents, in-laws, bosses, etc. It gives the producers a story line to do when the series is ending its run where they have the guy show his face.
I believe Home Improvement did that with the guy next door and I think they did that with the guy on Charlie's Angels too.

On the Andy Griffith show, you never saw the operator, Sarah, or Barney's sometime girlfriend at the diner, Juanita.

When asking about someone you don't see you can't mention Wilson from Home Improvement because you still see him. One character you never ever see is Peggy Bundy's mom on "Married With Children". Always talking about how fat she is and heard her voice a few times but never actually seen her.

I only caught the show occasionally, but in "Friends," wasn't there a fat, naked guy across the street that they talked about and watched sometimes but we never saw (thankfully)? Oh well....
