I want to check the version, make and model of my PC graphics and sound card. Where will I look at?

How about the version of my Direct X? Thanks

A quick way to check all 3 of these:

Click Start > Run...
In the run box type: dxdiag
A window will open up and towards the bottom you will see your DirectX version.

Click the Display tab along the top for graphics information.
Click the Sound tab along the top for audio information.

DxDiag will also allow you to test your graphics and sound to make sure everything is working properly.

Click on Start- run- type "dxdiag" without quotes and hit enter. This opens DirectX Diagnostic Tool which gives you all the information also the version of DirectX installed in the PC.

An excellent program for producing a check of all your hardware is called the "Belarc Advisor". It's free, and downloadable at the below link.
