Vitimine E is good but it mostly moisturizes the scar and makes it flatter it won't make them go away altogether. There are also many scar remover products on the market but they work on the same principal. You should consult a skin doctor or a plastic surgeon.

Vitamin E oil is the best treatment I've found for getting scars to fade. The vitamin aisle of any supermarket or health food store should carry bottles of Vitamin E oil capsules. All you have to do is pierce the capsule and squeeze a little of the oil out onto the scarred area. The most effective way to do this is to apply the oil right after you've had a bath or a shower. The skin is softer then, so the oil is absorbed more thoroughly and can do more for healing the scar tissue.

I've got scars from car accidents, childbirth, and a childhood spent getting beat up doing all sorts of tomboyish things. I swear by Vitamin E oil. If I didn't have that, I'd be looking a lot more like Sally from "A Nightmare Before Christmas"!

Vitamin E is a vitamin which you can purchase over the counter. It is sold as Vitamin E oil inside transparent soft gel capsules. You puncture the capsules and rub the oil on the scar. My hand surgeon had me apply this to the surgical scars on my hands to help heal them.

I was taught in massage school that you always massage across the direction of the scar, and that the appearance of scars even 20 years old can fade and look better by massaging them.

You can't get rid of them unless you have the laser surgery. There are some creams that fades them though.

Mederma and
Avon sells a product that is good for that - it's a blemishing cream I think

Vitimin E is great. You buy it in the store and it comes in little golden capsules, then you poke a hole in them with a pin rub the gel inside directly onto the scars...but it takes quite a long time, keep doing it until they go away...

You can buy Mederma. It's sold at any Sav-on or Rite-Aid. Not sure on the price but it's specifically for scarring.
