in every time some people have always had it better than others.
In turning back the world but leaving the people we have today
would not work. even with modern technology feeding more people there are starving people everywhere now.
There are still "primitive peoples" that are living as our ancestors once did. They are no happier or unhappier than we are.
there are also those who have chosen to live in the past
The American Amish for one. like the "primitive" they are no better nor worse off than a "modern" person.
Hope is for the future. Life will never be better nor worse.
Life goes on. circumstances change but life goes on.

Humanity has never had it so good. Granted there are still millions living in horrible conditions, but there has never been a time in human history where so many people have lived so well. With technology advancing with leaps and bounds, things are just going to keep getting better.

I don't think any time would be the best time to go back. Each era has good stuff and bad stuff. In order to enjoy the good stuff you have to put up with the bad stuff. Little ex. the 50's had less divorce and less crime, but fathers didn't participate in family life as much and people died earlier. It always was and always will be a trade-off

well at every point you wanna do differanty, but look ahead remember the past and do differantly cuz thats the only thing we can change ,our future ,lifes always gonna have its ups and downs but as long as people are finding better ways to educate the children to make them beleive our words that they dont stumble as we did its just gonna get better but if we keep haven children without guidence from the mature adults then it might go backwards so why dont you stop right before you take yur next step and help guide with what you do know and listen to what you havent accepted from other parents who do know !!

many would say before a loved one passed on as i'm a widower twice. but by going back we would already know what is going to happen. no matter what period you go to, there is still going to be wars, diseases and as hard as it was before. only in the last twenty years of medicine that people can live longer that before. if there was a period of time i could go back. then it would be the time just before jesus disappered all those years to find out where he went and was.

the answer to your question is actually another question. why would anyone want to go backwards? are we not here to advance, learn and move forward.
i often think back to days gone bye however briefly.
i believe if we had the technology to have the world turned back in time i would prefer to use such technology to have the world advance in time.
wonder what year i would stop in???

Life is what you make of it. If your life sucks, then you had a hand in making it suck. Turning back time will also involve reliving past mistakes.
You get what you expect in life. If you expect nothing you will surely get it.
