Everybody has a time in thier life when acting/doing the 'right' ''thing'' will alter ones future....just become good at what 'you' do and therein will be the LIMITATION of the ''OFFICE'' whatever it is....fame does not survive unless others re-gurgitate' the past so i wouldn/t bother much about same except to CASH in on the work done for the future when no one wants to know me anymore....kinda like what have you to offer today....but that was YESTERDAY....so become a 'holmes on holmes' kind of person and you'll have ''good'' thoughts reviewed by others when your name comes up ....a good name is wanted MORE THAN...>>>>( and there-by a FUTURE )....BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE IN ALL YOUR ENDEVORS....put heart and sole so-to-speak in all you do and don't worry about the other guy/dame since they's got to live their own lives....

Sure...why would I want or need to be well known ? Whats the point? Of course there are many famous people who have contributed to the good in the world, but many are just a waste of time and news print. I really don't need much more than what I've got; wanting more is a different issue. I once knew a really bad person who when he was old told me that his one wish in life was to be famous. Ironically he got his wish at about age 72 or so, being a spokesman on national television. However he was too old for the assignment given, so he was quickly replaced. God must have a sense of humor!

That depends on what a person is seeking , wants, needs or desires.
On the Internet , many people prefer to be virtually unknown, hence, screen names, different identities. Lots of good reasons to be unknown here.
A person running for political office, not a good idea to be virtually unknown.
The people that count in your life, friends , family, spouse, other connections such as co-workers, of course you want those people to know the reality of you, but sometimes you are virtually unknown to them.

Yes definitely. Nothing wrong with anonymity. A lot less people bug you that way. ;)

Sure it would be fun to be known and loved by lots of people, but then you'd be a movie star and they are hounded 24 hours a day by the media and paparazzi. You can't be famous only part-time.

Everyone likes to be in the "spotlight". Don't u try to be among the best in school, college or in ur job ?Why do you wear good clothes?so that people notice you. I think recognition helps you to be conscious of yourself and do better each time as you know that there are people who are watching u & expect best from you.so in a way it's good to have some popularity.I love to be in the spotlight

Yes, I am okay - I love being alone and unknown.
I don't get bored, have lots of things to do and
I can close my door and not be bothered by nosy
neighbors, friends and family that come around
only when they want something.

Yeah, it is OK with me. People who feel they should be known to all the world can be selfish achieving that goal.
