Yankees. Peopl say thatit's the Red soxs or the Mets or the White Soxs. But are any of those teams dynasty teams like the Yankees are? No. Do any of those teams have 26 World Series titles? No. You not only have to look at their stats now , when you ask . '' whos the best team in baseball" but you have to look at their history too. And until some other team beats the Yankees records the Yankees will always be the best team in baseball let alone the best team in the history of sports.

The Mets and White Sox are a pretty good team, but the best team, in my opinion, would have to be the Tigers. A year ago, they wouldn't be consider the elite in baseball but they turn it around this year. The Mets and Sox were expected to win games this year but the Tigers just came out of nowhere. They finally have a manager in Jim Leyland, one of the most underrated pitching staff in the league (Kenny Rogers, Jeremy Bonderman, Nate Robertson, Justin Verlander and Mike Maroth, all with winning records and ERA below 4.00), and the offense is finally clicking with Magglio Ordonez, Chris Shelton, and Ivan Rodriguez. Although we pay more attention to teams like the Mets and White Sox (big-market area), we should at least give the Tigers some recognition. After all, they own the best record in baseball.

RIGHT NOW NOT ONLY RECORD WISE BUT NOT ONLY WHO THEY HAVE AND WHAT THEY HAVE DONE IS THE TIGERS AND MY W SOX THEY BOTH HAVE BEATEN GOOD TEAMS BUT I GIVE THE SOX THE EDGE CAUSE NOT ONLY IM A SOX FAN BUT BECAUSE WHEN THEY PLAYED AGAINST EACH OTHER THE SOX WON THE SERIES SO FAR THATS THE THE ONLY EDGE THE SOX HAVE ON THE TIGERS THERES MORE GAMES THEY PLAY AGAINST EACH OTHER THE MOST UNDERRATED RIVALRY SO FAR METS ARE OK BUT NOT AS GOOD I THINK WE PLAY THE METS I THINK I KNOW WE PLAY THE YANKS AND RED SOX THE YANKS ARE WASHED UP RED SOX STILL GOOD THE CARDS DONT KNOW ABOUT THEM AFTER WHAT WE AND THE TIGERS DID TO THEM
