This has been a test. I ask a serious question about the NY Time story and get almost no responses. I simply put the president's name up and there are instantly a dozen; good, bad, or indifferent.

Are people here to spew or discuss? Well, I guess I have my answer. Bummer.

President Bush is the greatest leader with some of the greatest moral conviction this country has seen since President Reagan. Under President Bush's leadership:

* Uemployment is at record lows. In fact, we cannot go much lower without going in to recession (pick up a basic economics book to find out why).
* Housing starts and finishes are the highest they have been in over ten years.
* His tax cuts have helped grow the economy at an amazing rate.
* His tax cuts have led to a net increase of 25% in the COLLECTION of taxes. That's right, people. Tax revenues have GROWN by 25% because people get to keep more of their money and spend and invest it.
* There have been no more terror attacks on American soil since 9/11. His perfectly legal terrorist spying program and financial records program BOTH have helped catch terrorist and spoil terror plots on American soil. THANKS TO THE TREASONOUS NEW YORK TIMES FOR TELLING THE TERRORISTS ALL ABOUT IT. F*CKERS.
* He has liberated 50,000,000 people in the middle east.
* He has made two solid allies among Muslim nations - two more than this country has every really had.
* His strategy is winning the war in Iraq. Don't believe me?? Talk to some veterans who have been there. They will tell you a TOTALLY different story than the media is spreading.

Sure, he's had some bombs like No Child Left Behind (the federal government has NO business in childrens' education - the Department of Education created by Jimmy Carter should be shut down) and the Prescription Drug Act. But overall, he is doing a helluva a job. Unlike our last President ... who GOT a helluva job.

EDIT: Want to some well-thought out and oh-so-intelligent answers the libs offer for this question? Just look at the responses by:

* thegirlgenius
* Ron C
* johnluke1169 (in case you hadn't heard, the UN now BACKS what we are doing in Iraq, genius).
* TheIndianaZephyr
* worldstiti
* Rim (maybe not liberal, but it is George WALKER Bush)
* socccerprincess244 (PLEASE stay in school!!)
* Mel Bo (he was re-elected with his approval rating way below 50%, Einstein)

Is this a question? If you're asking our opinion of him - you should take a looksie at his current poll ratings. His low point was 32% - which Stephen Colbert so brilliantly made fun of during the White House Correspondents Dinner last month. Or you can go to google or yahoo and type in "failure" to see what comes up (I think it's down to number 3 or something now...). Heheh
