What is global warming? It is simply just the presence of gases into the earth's atmosphere in an excessive quantity. This is caused by gases, since they are only capable of accumulating into the higher atmospheres. However, some gases affect the way in which the heat and cold is maintained on the planet earth. They are known as greenhouse gases, having disastrous effects on the earth and the ecosystem. Animal species disappear if they are unable to adapt.

Therefore, you can eliminate aluminium oxide (a catayst), nitrogen (unreactive gas) and nitric acid (an acid)

What remains is carbon dioxide. It acts as a greenhouse gas by enabling the sun rays to pass through the atmosphere to the earth's surface, but blocks radiation reflected by the earth's surface. Consequently, the heat caused by the trapped radiation is responsible for the melting of icebergs and an increase in average temperatures in many countries.

.....Adding carbon dioxide (CO2) or methane (CH4) to Earth's atmosphere, with no other changes, will make the planet's surface warmer; greenhouse gases create a natural greenhouse effect without which temperatures on Earth would be an estimated 30 °C (54 °F) lower, and the Earth uninhabitable. It is therefore not correct to say that there is a debate between those who "believe in" and "oppose" the theory that adding carbon dioxide or methane to the Earth's atmosphere will, absent any mitigating actions or effects, result in warmer surface temperatures on Earth. Rather, the debate is about what the net effect of the addition of carbon dioxide and methane will be, when allowing for compounding or mitigating factors......
