I am new at beading and want to know if someone can help me decide how much wire I need to make a necklace?

This will give you an idea of length, depending on how you want the necklace to hang:

Also, when I string a necklace, I don't cut the wire off the spool and then string. I just string it right on the spool. That way, you are not wasting a lot of wire.

add about 3 inches to the length you want your necklace. if the beads are very large you might need to make your necklace longer. happy beading to you!!!
