My remedy is going to say crazy, but it does work.

Take a piece of white bread (Wonder, Sunbeam, anything). Use only the white part.

Boil some milk. After the milk is heated, dip some of the white bread into the milk and then put this on your pimple. WARNING: This will burn a bit.

The yeast in the bread is "activated" by the hot milk and will draw out the pimple. Please keep the bread on the pimple for as long as you can. The pimple will be brought to a head and may even open while you still have the bread on it. If it does not open, it will shortly, again because you've drawn it to a head.

I hope that my answer has helped you. Have a lovely rest of the day.

I tell all my students-eye drops. You know how Visine "takes the red out"? Well, it does the same in your skin. It tightens the capillaries and the red gets much less.

This at least helps while the pimple is there and starts to go away. If you have popped it, right after put 4 or 5 drops on and leave it there for a minute or two. It takes a little time to work-just like in your eyes, but it really helps reduce that painful look pimples have.

Also, I have used a pimple treatments from Garden Botanika and Prescriptives. They go on at night, form a barrier and dry up the pimple. Both have worked well.

Use a warm water soaked towel over your face and leave it there till it cools off; do this over and over until you feel your facial pores are all open. Do not scrub your face after using a warm towel; it will damage the tender skin. Now, squeeze a half medium ripe lemon, teaspoon of pure bee honey and a few drops of pure rose oil into a small receptacle, mix them together and apply to the area that’s affected. Do this twice a day; in the mornings as you wake up and at night before you go to sleep. This should do the trick. It takes a few days to work and seem to be the best. Regular warm water towels and repeat of this therapy will prevent future episodes.

At night, try to carefully pop it without breaking too much skin. Then, apply peroxide to the zit & pat dry. Next apply a facial moisturizer containing saliscyic acid (not sure on spelling) all over face to prevent future zits. Finally, apply a spot treatment (like Clearisil) on the zit itself & leave overnight. Oh, don't ever go to bed without washing your face! Good Luck!

It could have become infected. Keep it clean with a cleanser such as Neutrogena facial wash for acne prone skin (or any other brand you prefer) and rinse well. Pat your face dry with a clean towel and apply an antibiotic cream like Polysporin. If that doesn't help clear it up, you may need a prescription cream.
