It's kind of hard to compare presidents because no two presidents have ever had to deal with the exact same problems or whatnot. Clinton had to respond to the bombing in Oklahoma City, but that was the closest thing to a terrorist attack he ever had to deal with. Bush (W), on the other hand had the 9/11 disaster. Lincoln had the Civil War, JFK had the Cuban Missile Crisis, and the list goes on. So--I don't really think that comparing presidents is something that can be done to any degree of accuracy--it is simply a matter of opinion. I believe that Clinton did a pretty good job as president, and Bush is doing the best that he and his cabinet can do--that's all we as Americans should expect. But it is my personal opinion that JFK was one of the best.

Clinton was president at a time when our nation wasn't in a major war like we are now (Iraq). Also remember when he was president planes were not flying into buildings. President Clinton just did his duty as the President of the United States. I think he could have done more though. I personally think he left alot for George to deal with.

Bill Clinton was a lying, cheating womanizer.

When his presidential library was opened, they asked for people to send in picture of him, but they had to ask that they be pictures of him clothed. There are enough nude picture of Clinton floating around that they needed the disclaimer?

I heard an interview with a woman shortly before his second term, who said that she was voting for him. Yes, she knew he was a liar, but she liked the things he said. That makes him a good liar; who's going to lie and say things people don't like?

When he was impeached, he was guilty of obstructing justice, and even his close friends admitted that; he wasn't convicted only because some people didn't like the sentence that he would have gotten. They should have answered the question at hand - was he guilty? - and have dealt with the punishment for his guilt at a later time.

He was probably the worst president in history. He wasn't a Ronald Reagan, by any stretch of the imagination.

I think he was an excellent president in fact one of the best Presidents America ever had. He was respected throughout the world. Sadly he made a mistake when temptation got the better of him. Hilary is a wonderful woman as well.

As someone who lived in Belfast, i would say he was because he did far more peace and reconciliation in Ireland than any other US president did.

I also know from friends in the US that their lives improved with him as president.

As for the Lewinski incident. I am one in millions of people in Europe to believe that there has to be something fundamentally flawed when a woman keeps a dress stained for months!

Yes he lied to Americans, said he had not had sex with her and he was wrong there but if you were to look at all your other presidents ... You'd find they all lied about more important matters and got away with it, part from Nixon to my knowledge.

Mr Clinton often visits Ireland where he is better than well liked. In fact most of us here wouldn't mind him moving over as we wouldn't think twice about electing him!

For the good of both the country and the people, I have to pick Eisenhauer.... The only politician that reminds my of him would be C. Powell. I have always said that and now that he has stepped out of the political circle.... I think so even more!
