you do? For ex. if they act like everything you do is wrong when they are with someone else but normal when you are only with them? probably confusing, i know

If your close friends I would sit down with her and talk about it. Don't be mean about it; just be honest and calm. Maybe your friend will see your point of view and realize how it makes you feel. I tell you by experience.

Stop hanging out with her. Why do you want to hang out with someone who makes you feel like less than what you are. You view her as a friend, so I am sure you'll miss her in the beginning, but just treat her as an acquaintance. You need a friend that lifts your spirits, whether you're hanging out alone with her or with a bunch of other friends. Move on.

The person is just a poser and is acting different ways around different ppl because she wants to be liked. Drop her, shes not a good friend.

Nope. This is what they call a fine-weather-friend. Only your friend when the climate is good (no peer pressure) and you're not having any problems you need help with.

Because it's a control issue. A situation in which he/she can make an example out of you, or pressure you into thinking thoughts of insecurity.

I wouldn't consider them a friend. It sounds abusive. Like trying to portray that she is better than you and whoever she's taking to should know that she is better than you and they should like her better than you.
