Don't do those things for a while. See if he changes his mind.

Honestly, perhaps you've spoiled him. Or maybe he has had bad experiences before.

Plus, after 5 years, you may have a common law marriage.

But whatever you do, just talk to him. Women often know that we (men) can just sense their feelings. Sit him down and say, "We've been together for a while and things are going well. I think we should stand before our frineds and plege out mutual commitment publically - we should get married. Please think about this, it is very important to me. It will make me feel more secure with my place in this world and more comfortable with the time I spend supporting your ambitions (cooking, cleaning, etc.)"

Good luck.

Marriage is not the answer you are looking for. If you are already living together and feel he is your soul mate, than it could be that he does not feel the same way and wants to keep his options open. He might tell you he loves you, but does he really. Man love convenience, if you make life easy on him, like cooking and cleaning. May be it is time for you to sit back and let him Cook and clean and show his love for you! Is he for filling your needs?

He feels that he already has you so if you can get the milk for free why buy the cow. After so long men feel that they don't have to try anymore and we let them fall into that comfort zone. Make him realize that he is not the only man you can have and if he still doesn't appreciate you leave him your wasting your time!

Hi Hun,
Men are like that, he should realize that u r precious, not there every time he needs you, not there to clean & wash, I know this is kindness from you because you love him, but do not spoil him....try to show that you have more important things in your life then him, if he truly loves you like you do, he will be concirned , but if he gives no reaction then he needs a mommy not a wife...and that should make you think

Either the man doesn't want a commitment but wants the relationship, or he is just using you as a free maid. Regardless of the reason, it's time to get out of that relationship now.

Why should he bother to get married, he gets everything he wants as it is.............. Come on, Thick honest, get wise to yourself. Give him an ultimatum 'Marry me or Go'. He won't go because he has it too good. You are a good woman but too soft. I hope everything works out well, take care and God Bless.

It's because he already has you !!!

If you never lived together you would have been married a long time ago.

But he doesn't need to marry you becuse youre there !!!

You're expecting a lot of him. Mind reading isn't usually a trait of men. Nor women. ;) Have you ever discussed marriage?
