Like the hoola hoop (Wham-O Enterprises, Inc) a FAD that isn't worthy unless you're in it for a short run while it's hot. Would not ever under any circumstance recommend as a long term holding as all FAD'S fade from memory. Not only that the World Poker Tour isn't like the NBA...individuals are funding it through their gambling (I LOVE POKER BUT WOULDN'T ever play in a tour event). All they've done is try to bring poker out of private living rooms and into the broad family room. Frankly it's not going to continue to grow much longer. If you want to invest in gambling pick a couple of good CASINO operators and put your $$$ there.

tough call... if you think the poker boom has already peaked, I would stay away. But if you think as I think, that poker is around for the long haul, then they are probably worth buying and holding long term.
