Why did puzzlers (3of 4) get it wrong (the 4th couldn't do it and arrogantly said it was a waste of time, too easy, yet took time to write that.) Why did this stump puzzlers but not geeks? .one more challenge ; can you answer without being rude, vulgar, nasty? You know, be nice.

Because they were coming at it from different perspectives. People with hammers look for solutions involving hammers. And that's not necessarily a bad thing. The world needs both Puzzle Pundits AND Math Geeks, even if the Pundits' profession led them astray this time. Maybe next time, the Geeks might be on the short-end of the question. That's how we find the answers: Different people working at things from different angles.

BTW, is it possible that the Pundits' answer was also correct? Perhaps there's an angle to this that you haven't thought of. Maybe the Puzzled weren't so puzzled after all. You won't know until you ask them.

LOL! i think of i comprehend the respond, however! An previous guy/women people is going up the hill because of the fact 2 legs + a million cane = 3 legs! Then they arrive falling down the hill on 2 palms + 2 legs - the cane(it got here out of his/her hand) = 4 legs! definite! i do no longer ought to pay! he he.
