Someone Hacked my own mail and forwarded a personal mail to many can he be traced

Here is how you can look at the details of the email, but many times the IP is faked.

In Outlook Express, open the email (so you will need to be at a machine that received it). Then click on File, then Properties, then Details. You will see all the details of what IP and such that it was sent from. You can use the IP to track back to contact information for the sender, or at least for the administrator of that IP.

You can do a similar thing in regular Outlook and in most other email programs. The key thing is to look at the "HEADER" of the email.

I guess the yahoo only tells that it has been sent from a verified domain but does not give us the Ip...but the IP will and should be there in every mail (its the format followed) but yahoo parses it and does not show us... Security agencies such as cyber crime can track them...

look at the mail's properties this will show you it's routing from sender to you
