Forget him. It's one thing to to argue, it's another thing to be talking about your "friend's" family. Family first, dorks second! If he'stalking bad about them, imagine what he's said about you when you weren't there.
People need to understand that just cuz they forgot a bout a fight doesn't mean that it's over, or it doesn't hurt still. You need to surround yourself with positive people, not idiots.

What do you mean that you have more stuff than he does? Is this the World of Warcraft-wise or in reality? If in reality, I'd bet he is using you. Most friends do make fun of each other often and on a casual basis to show that they are now accepted. Yo mama jokes and sister jokes are pretty common out of all those. You should still try to talk to him and sort it out. See if he's using you by pretending not to have the item he asks for next time he needs something.

Friends don't talk bad about other friends behind their back. When there is something I don't like about my friend, I speak to her. Since we are very good friends, we can tell eachother anything. Especially when something is bothering one of us about the other. This guy was talking behind your back, not only about you but about your family. He didn't know you were listening, so I can bet it's not the first time.
Move on.... a friend like this, why would you need any enemies.

I have a friend who is like that. He takes it out on me when he is caught in the wrong. The only reason anyone talks to him cause of the crap he talks about behind every ones back.

It sounds like he is jealous of you. If you have a lot of stuff he doesn't have he may have only befriended you for your stuff in the first place. He is not a real friend and does not deserve to be your friend. Tell him that you are through.

Confront him face to face and ask him about it. If you don't like his answer then break relations with him. But if you have considered him to be a good friend in the past, then he does deserve a chance to explain.

thats up to you. if he is hurting your feelings a lot then to hell with him. if it is not that easy then let him know the boundaries of your friendship and if he cant respect them then he doesnt really care about keeping you as a friend........oh and talking about ones family members is crossing the line and is grounds for getting your *** kicked. but thats just how i feel about my family: very protective

Not such a good friend , find a real friend. A really friend will not talk smack about your family. Tell him to get his own stuff.
