You should end the friendship. In order to get of her, simply tell her how you feel or if that does not work, ignore her.

You need to distinguish between a friend, an aqaintance, a co-worker, a classmate, and the other types that will cross your path. Friends don't lie to each other. If there is something she does not want to be honest about your relationship with her should be one such that she is comfortable enough to let you know that she does not want to share it with you.
YOu two should also have the understanding that no matter what you do, I am here for you. You share opinions with your friends but you can not always expect them to take your advice.
YOu help each other as much as possible and when one falls you help her up.

If this person lies to you and is mean to you she is NOT your friend. She does not consider you as a friend and you should not try to be a friend to her. Hang out with people who you can trust, otherwise you will end up getting used/hurt.

No, because a real friend who cares anything about you will not lie to you or be mean to you. I don't really know how to get rid of her because you don't want to be mean to her or lie to her. Try to develop a new circle of friends or keep busy with family activities this summer. Next time SHE calls, simply tell her you are busy. Stop worrying about her and live your own life.

I had the same exact thing happen to me. Just ignore them and let them meet people they could be nice to and meet people who are nice to you. If you stop doing stuff together you will drift apart. Don't think you're a loser because you lost a friend this way. Your friend is the loser because she lost out on being friends with you. She may be going through a tough time and is jealous of you.

If she is a long-time friend,
Insecure people equals mean people. Try making her feel a bit at ease with you. People who are mean to othes have less self-respect personally. When you are happy with yourself you make others happy the opposite makes you mean. It's like that.
or , see for yourself , and don't say bye bye at once slowly slowly reduce contact

Your "friend" is mean to you. Your "friend" lies to you.
What's the difference between this "friend" and an enemy?
Just talk to her, either over the phone or in person- whichever is easiest for you. Tell her "You have hurt me by doing ___________ and ___________. You lie to me. I can't trust you. I think it might be better for me if we weren't friends."
If you get specific about what she has done, You're giving her the opportunity to change.
