not easy, amatuer moves are dropping, freezing, but professional places go in a clean room, open it up, and move the discs to another drive and recover as much data as possible. this is an expensive process and have to decide if what you want to recover is worth it or not. data recovery places advertise in back of computer magazines or you can search the internet for data recovery services.
