Yes, if women buy clothes that are meant to be alluring then she should expect guys to check her out (although a few looks and perhaps being asked should be as far as she should expect without her provocation).
As for the underwear thing, it makes you feel good on the inside if you wear nice underwear under your clothes. I do it all the time even though I know nobody will see my underwear that day I still fell good about it.
Also, my mother told me that you should always wear nice underwear cos if you get run over and have to go to hospital then you don't want the doctors and nurses to think badly of you if you have grey knickers on.

It's the WAY men look at women or approach women wearing sexy clothes that turns women off. We like to wear sexy clothes because we like to look good, sure for guys, but also for ourselves. It makes a woman feel confident and fun to know she looks good!
Sometimes, when a woman is wearing sexy clothes, guys try to pull crap that they could never attempt if the woman was wearing jeans. If a woman was dressed in less revealing clothes, a guy might approach her and say "hi, how are you tonight?" But if a woman has a short skirt on, instead of looking at her from across the room, a guy will stand in front of her and stare at her like she's meat and he's trying to find the tenderest cut. Or he'll pinch a woman's bottom or say sleazy things to her, or whoop at her or just yell "holla!". We still want men to be polite when they're trying to pick us up. Sometimes when guys see a short dress or a low-cut top they think they don't have to show a woman respect when they approach her, but they still do. A woman wants respect no matter what she's wearing!

Some women where sexy clothes to make them feel sexy. They don't necessarily want to be hit on or gawked at. However, a sweet compliment is all that is needed and not necessarily verbal. Some guys like their girls to look really sexy but don't understand the consequences. I suppose you have to look at the total picture.
Personally, I hate the more than obviously looking up and down. I'd rather have a guy check you out secretly. That's why its called Victoria's Secret. It should be between you and the guy you're making eye contact with. Mystery is more sexy in my opinion.

We like sexy underwear because it makes us feel sexy and when we do find a man we want to get it on with, it's nice to have the underthings that are sexy. But women who wear trashy revealiingclothes and then get mad when a man reacts are stupid, teases, and unfair to men. If you flaunt it, expect the results. Now, a man can show apreciation and look while being respectful at the same time. Don't go "Let's get it on, hot mama" and expect a positive response. But a woman who wears revealing clothes is advertisings she's easy, whether she is or not.

I hear ya brotha and can feel ya, but it is the same with the bathroom seat, If I can lift it up you can put it down.
Just another argument that separate the sexes.
Another one is "Do you think I am fat?" I have learned not to touch that one there is no sensible answer you can give to that question that will get you to your objective that night.
I hope this has been of some use to you, good luck.

...try to look like you are embarrased at being caught looking, but kinda smile, not smirk, to show them your appreciation.
What the f.?? Are you high? Who plays these mind games, this isn't Dawson's Creek. Grow up already. When men see women with their breasts coming out of the tops of their turtlenecks, the last thing they are going to do is evaluate how they should react to the situation. It's like when you see a cross-dresser walking down the street, you see, you react, you evaluate later. If you don't people looking at you like you're a tramp, stop dressing like one. In the words of Dave Chappelle, "You may not be a whore, but you are in a whore's uniform"

I've always wondered that myself. Some actually get angry and indignant. No touching allowed, but isn't that why they dress that way in the first place? As far as the sexy underwear, it feels fabulous on the skin and since you wear underwear anyway, why not?

if you want the truth here it is:
there is a difference between "visual assessment", and "visual rape". the first feels like a compliment, the latter feels like a violation, that makes you want to go back home and shower for hours. i like to be checked out, but not drooled on. besides drooling automatically gets you put on the "do not call list".
