I have lived all over this country and I think that Phoenix has some of the most (disturbingly) dedicated fans for majority of sports but especially baseball.
The Cardinals suck but they still manage to sell season tix... The Diamond Backs bought 2 world series and yet fans adore them YEAR_ROUND! You'd think the Suns hung the moon... and the Coyote's are decent but this isn't the best weather for Ice Hockey!

Each fan will say that they are the best fans.
So it is hard to be "the best" when everyone says it.
I know Detroit has some die hard baseball fans, and have been suffering through 12 straight seasons under .500.
It is good to see The Tigers do so well.
Tiger Fans deserve a good team and winning attitude.
We have supported The Tigers through it all.
If the yankees had 12 straight seasons under .500 would they still scream yankees rule?
I dont think so.
A good solid fan is one that remains loyal to thier team regardless of what their team does.
That is a best fan.

Chicago... Mostly the Cubs. The fans come out to all the games regardless of wins/loses. Im not a cub fan, but i think some of the other cities should look at that and support their loacl teams

I've watched sports all over the place.
For the most part, (and I'm not from there) but Detroit has the best.
For hockey, it's between Montreal and Detroit.
Baseball: Detroit, Boston, New York, Cubs
Basketball : detroit
Football: don't really know

I would say New York, which is true, but Yankees fans SUCK! Mets fans are the best in the world.....Red Sox fans are great too, I was at Fenway last year....I was in San Francisco this year and the Giants fans I met were lame.....

The St. Louis Cardinals and the Chicago Cubs have very devoted and knowledgeable fans, and they aren't nasty drunks like Boston-New York fans.
