after knowing each other all through high school, we finally hooked up five years later. we live together, he's told me he loves me and even made little comments about "when we get married" even though he hasn't asked. then suddenly last night he said he's moving back to his moms and he thought we moved too fast and he thinks he needs to be single for a while. he packed his things but then totally "made out" with me and spent the night, he said he would see me tonight when i left for work this morning. WTF is going on? is he scared or is there annother woman?

maybe both...he could be afraid of a serious relationship, but if he is saying i love you, but i need to be single for awhile, that usually means he is checking someone else out, but doesn't want to lose you just yet. sounds like some game playing going on to me. and the fact that before he leaves he makes out with you and spends the night he is assuring himself that you still love him and maybe, just maybe, he can have his cake and eat it too! never works out that way, but there is always hope! and the fact that he is moving home with his mom may be significant in the fact that he probably does not have to pay rent, gets his clothes washed, etc. - maybe he wants someone to take care of him. seems to me that if he loves you he would stay there with you and try to make this relationship work rather than running off to his mom's to be single for awhile! just think, if the shoe were on the other foot, would you be moving out to be single for awhile? what would you really be doing?? think about it. good luck!

He is probably in love with you, its just that maybe he needs time to see what else is out there, he probably feels he is ready to marry you, but feels like " woahh, we got so far in our relationship " so he feels things are going to fast, if he's right for you, he'll come back. You shouldn't wait sooo patiently live a little, and have fun even though hes the only one for you, make sure, by dating around but not so much, still call him everyday, and make sure he calls you too. give him his space, but stay in touch!

He is very young if I am doing the math right and getting cold feet. He wants to have his cake and eat it too. The freedom to have his own place, come and go as he pleases, a woman in his bed, but also needs the security of living with mom (less responsibility) and not have to answer to you for any of his actions.

It sounds like him mother is meddling in his relationship with you. How well do you know his family? If his mother controlled him through high school then she might be up to her old ways. There might be a family emergency he doesn't want you involved in also. Ask him what's going on, it's the only way to know for sure.

I am not a mind reader, therefore I don't know. I find it best to go to the source. ask the person whats up. Game playing is not one of my qualities. It does look like he is getting cold feet however. Of course he is gonna totally make out with you if you allow him to. Do you like being used? Sounds like he is playing you well.

I would imagine he wants to be single and get with other women, hence seeing to you before he left.
