Has anyone really found the grass to be greener on the other side?

The way that I see it is that it might be for alittle while. Then after a while it will get dry and start to turn brown again. If the grass in your yard starts to wilt and get dry you just have to water it and show it some love for that green look and feel again.

Do you agree? Have you found the grass greener elsewhere?

great Question, lots of good answers, bottom line its up to the gardener if you dont tend to your own yard sooner or later the weeds and rodents will come in and ruin it. save your self the hassle tend to your own yard and sit back and enjoy the benefits.

I have never found the grass to be greener. When you go to that side, look back, the grass will be greener where you came from. It's because of the way you are looking at it. It always looks greener from a distance, but when close up, it's just as brown as where you came from. Fertilize your own lawn and don't worry about anyone Else's.

I haven't found it to be greener. And I don't know anyone that has. I do however, know plenty that have found once they got to the other side that after a while it was pretty much the same. So, that leads me to believe the problem was the gardener to begin with.
Some people (I won't say men here because it is women too) want something else thinking they will be happy. Once they get it they still aren't happy. The problem is them and they didn't change anything about themselves. They expect another person will make them happy. If you aren't happy with yourself, it doesn't matter who you are with, you won't be happy.

You have got it pegged exactly! The grass ALWAYS looks greener on the other side. Then when you go over, it's not that green at all.

It may be greener on the other side, but you still have to mow the yard.

I think you are correct, after the new yard becomes what your used to, you find that it has the same problems as the old one,, a little mold here,, some weeds there,,and they all have to be maintained the same way.
