I have daytime running lamps on my caliber. when the car is in drive the running lamps are on. when you turn on the headlamps for normal night time intensity, the driver side lamp does not come on. Also when you turn on the left or right turn signal the corresponding daytime running lamp turns off until you turn the turn signal back off.

It is easier for other drivers to see your turn signal during the day when the running light turns off. It is a safety measure.

The driver side lamp not turning on for night driving should be looked at by your dealer or approved mechanic so you don't void your warranty.

sounds like some type of shortage. if it's a 2007 you still have it under warranty. Take it back to the dealer.

don't touch it,,if you want the warranty to be good,,take it back to the dealer,,this and a lot more is covered by your warranty,,but if you let someone mess with it,,then they will charge you for the repair,,and you run the risk of loosing some of your warranty,,hope this help,s some.

there is nothing wrong with a dodge. i would recommend any type of dodge before any kind of car!!!!!! i would say you probably have a wiring problem. at least both lights do work. i would check the wiring harness for any cracked wires.and check all electrical too
