Same thing I do for the HUGE Bags under my eyes; For quick results, a tiny swipe of Preparation-H takes the Bags/Swelling away in five minutes....... When you have time to relax and be still, put a wet, used Tea Bag over each eye....... Doesn't stain your skin and it will gently reduce the swelling....... It is the Tannic Acid that does the trick....... Remember, Leather is, Skin, and Leather is,"Tanned" by the application of Tannic Acid...... smoothes the skin, and tightens it........ takes a little while, but it works

I would try a daytime antihistamine (if you can take one) and cold packs. I don't think you would want ice on your eye, but the coolness of a wet cloth may be very soothing. These are just my common sense ideas - things I myself would try, BUT I am NOT A DOCTOR, so if your doctor does not confirm any of this you shouldn't do it. You should surely see a doctor if the swelling is painful, hot, interfering wiht your vision or not improving. You can always call your doctor's service to ask if there is any reason to go in.

use something cold, boxers use a piece of cold metal to compress the swelling down my suggestion is to put a spoon in the freezer for a little while then press it on your swollen eye to help reduce it

Try some benadryl allergy med, sometimes that will bring down the swelling, but some allergy med makes ya sleepy so watch out for that.

You can try by putting some ice on it until it feels almost numb and then wait until it has its normal feeling back and then put ice on it again. Then after awhile put some medicine on it. It should get better in no time.
