It would depend upon how rich I was. If I had 20-40 million, I would take all of my relatives on vacation every year at one time (this would be about 100 people or so).
If I was Oprah rich, I would build a small community of nice houses for people who are struggling to make it. I would give them a car, so they could drive to a job, furnish the homes, give them free groceries/utilities/gas, etc. for 2 years. They would apply for entrance which would be based on their lifestyles and what they have done so far with their lives (i.e., working, education or at least attempting education), criminals need not apply. This would start a trend with all other wealthy folks and hopefully make some peoples lives a bit better.

I would first provide for the security of my family and then look for effective ways to make the world a better place. There are too many people hurting. There is a story in the Buffalo News about a man who very quietly gave away millions he made investing in stocks. He had a simple, quiet life, yet he was happy.

Pay my bills off, invest in lots of property, Buy stuff that my children need and put the rest into a high yeild savings account.

if i was rich, i would donate money to charity.and use it to carry out my social work.and to help poor fellow brothers ans sisters.i would spend it to go abroad and watch cricket matches in d stadium!honestly that's all i can think of. since my passion is social work ill do what i said ill do with d money.

i would keep some for me because i need money also.then the rest i would spend for the poor people, and also help others in need of money. and there are many good things that i can do with the money i have.i know animals don't need money but to help them survive we indirectly have to make use of money.

having made sure my family and friends will share my wealth
I will then travel ... and visit the places i have not already seen
and if i live long enough, revisit my favourite places again.

pay off student loans, help family and friends out with their bills, buy a car and a house...save for future kids college..donate, and invest...
