Perhaps it goes 3-3-5-4-4-7-5-5-9-6-6-11
(x,x,2x-1,x+1, x+1, 2(x+1)-1)

Perhaps the sequesnce goes 3-3-5-4-4-International-2-1
(Bus stops at terminal 3 (two stops), Terminal 5, two stops at terminal 4, then at the Intenational terminal.

Perhaps the next number is 131.723 -- I could come up with a story for that.
