One thing about religion and science: neither one is complete. What we actually have, what we believe to be right, or what we know--is so small a percentage compared to what we know we don't know.
I sincerely believe that the farther we advance in both science and religion, the more we will find that they are essentially the same thing.

I suppose it depends upon what you mean by "right." Validity in these areas seems to be measured differently. More importantly, it will depend (if we use logical consistency as our determining factor) on which religion or science you choose. There are some "sciences" (especially on the social science side) which seem to have a rather tenuous hold on being "right," and some religions might actually be more appealing.

You'll have to define your terms a little more clearly to get a good answer.

I think that is down to what holds true, or seems to be the true facts, for any one individual.

I think the important thing is to approach both with an open mind, and take opportunities to learn about and discuss both. Given time each person will find what is true for them, and I think for many there is a complicated and individual blend of both which is right for them.

I do not believe that one (science or religion) should always held to be right and the other always wrong. That seems to be a degree of inflexibility which does not take human nature into account.

This is an apples/oranges question. Science tells us 'how;' religion tells us 'why.'

I'd say that science is more affective and profound, praying can't save lives but medication and proper care can. Strange thought.

Hey! from my point of view for any question science has some logical answer.
OK..regarding religion, they have facts and good stories..but not practical.
Anyways..every human belives himself, and every human believes by more what he has saw or feels than what he hear from others....hmmm! thats it. ;-)

Religion is accepting on faith things one cannot see; science is an attempt to validate that faith...

Sigh.....

Stating the *obvious* one more time.....only one of the two is based in reality. Science. The other thing is an invention of humans, and needs to be discarded as soon as humanly possible.
